About ALT
Ashford Leisure Trust was set up to run the leisure facilities within Ashford Borough.
When that arrangement changed, the Trust became a grant-giving organisation, using its financial reserves to support individuals and groups within Ashford Borough to promote participation in sports and activities.

Trustees
Ashford Leisure Trust currently has four trustees:
Linda Dodds, Chair
Linda became a Trustee in 2016. She has always enjoyed racquet sports
and is currently loving pickleball, despite its strange name.
Charlie Vavasour
Charlie became a Trustee in 2016. As well as his involvement in ALT, he is also an active member of Ashford Rugby Club, currently acting as Treasurer.
Paul Dawson
Paul Dawson became a Trustee in 2021. A former Headteacher, Paul is a member of Ashford Hockey Club.
Mark Bowles
Mark Bowles became a Trustee in 2021 and is a member of Ashford Rugby Club.
Meetings
The Trustees meet three times a year. Two of these meetings are grant giving,
with the third one being the Annual General Meeting.
